(Ages 13-18)
Jewelry Making- Cuff bands, Rings & Pendants with a chain! Students will not only have fun creating handmade jewelry but will learn a bit about the amazing history behind it. Students will learn to stamp, fold form, hammer, bend, cut, twist, and even heat & solder to create metal art & wearable jewelry. Students will be learning these “hot” and “cold” methods of fabricating and creating with metal (primarily sheet copper or brass).
Printmaking- Using a variety of materials, artists will create works that they can transfer using inks and paints onto other surfaces, such as paper or textiles to come up with unique, individual designs and creations.
