This is for the ON CAMPUS workshop; limited attendance available.
Please join us in this exciting two-day Zoom hybrid class as enamelist Aurélie Guillaume teaches the fine art of cloisonne enamels with an exquisite contemporary twist.
Students will plan & prepare for a cloisonné design, learn how to bend the wire, wet pack, color do’s & don’ts, various finishing techniques & surface treatments such as inlay & metallic lusters. Aurélie will then help with problem solving or troubleshooting.
In Person students will attend class in the Armory studios, using Armory kilns with Aurélie on our large screen monitor. Both In Person/Online students will join the class via Zoom & will be able to see all demonstrations, view their classmates' work, ask questions and participate with others. It is suggested that students bring headphones with a microphone.
*All students must have access to a kiln and range of bench tools in order to be able to follow the class. The Armory will have assistants to help.
**This will not be torch fire with cloisonné.
IN PERSON CLASS WILL BE HELD IN THE JEWELRY STUDIO
There will be a 1 hour break for lunch.
