Introduction to Time Lapse Photography
Learn the fundamentals of timelapse, from capturing individual shots in sequence to editing and compiling those photos into
a video format. With the ever increasing amount of tool sets made available to the public, time lapse video is becoming more
prevalent in video content. In this course, students will learn a new skill by using common gear and editing software.
Students are required to bring their own DSLR camera/lens (with multiple shooting modes, such as manual, aperture or
shutter priority), memory and tripod - should your DSLR camera not have a timelapse feature, a device called an
intervalometer will be required. During the afternoon, students will venture out onto the Armory grounds to
choose a subject and capture the images required for timelapse video; Once this has been achieved, a demonstration will
take place on how to compile a timelapse using Adobe software and formatting, culminating with a high quality
web-formatted video - perfect for YouTube, lnstagram, Facebook or just to share with friends and family.
